Wow!!! I've got a buddy who works up here and asked if they could take a look at one of my employees' cars that I just got out of another shop (who wouldn't look into why it developed a new problem after taking it there). I asked around cause if you didn't know, car repair shops are kind of shady at times. No one person had anything but glowing things to say about Dave and his crew up there. Did a fantastic job at showing me in the report what was wrong and how it would affect the car. 500 dollars later, a vehicle that had major power issues and would die at times, runs and drives better than it has the entire time I've known it! I can't thank you, guys, enough!

Edited : I changed the rating because after I picked up my Tahoe, I started to have issues with misfires and the Tahoe went into limp mode. I had got it out of limp mode by turning the truck off and restarting It. This was not an issue prior to getting it worked on at Dave’s. Why I changed the rating: when I immediately went by to ask them to see why it was doing this, they said they could work me in next week. I was on my way to work and wanted them to look at it. I asked to have codes read as the engine light was now on. Part of the work I had them do was replace the oil sending unit. I was thinking there was a plug wire loose or some wiring harness that was loose, as they had been up on the engine to replace the sending unit and intake manifold gasket. They agreed to read the codes and it came back as throttle body position sensor and positraction error. They told me it would be an all new set of charges to look at it next week, and they told me that they didn’t touch any of that stuff (in other words they claimed no responsibility). So I had the clear the codes since the truck was running fine after my restart, and told them I would take it somewhere else. I was not happy with their post-work support when I started having issues, and their immediate disclaimer that it wasn’t them without even looking the truck over. Performed work I specified in a timely manner. I like their communications via texts and I like their work tracking website that lists all work pre-approved and performed, the findings of any inspections performed, and any work needed or recommended, and it lets you decide what to approve (detailed notes can be left with each approval). Very efficient. Very reasonable prices on work. Friendly staff.

Daves Service is the best in blue Springs 10 out of 10 recommended all my friends and family. Excellent work excellent timeline and great communication. Their lube technician did an amazing job on my 2020 Camaro SS

Took my vehicle to Dave’s Auto on New Year’s Eve. Didn’t expect service that afternoon, but they were more than accommodating for a late afternoon drop off. Every system failure on my CR-V was going off and the car was lurching. I was terrified, but they assured me that they could diagnose it, which they did. The fuel pump was bad, along with a sensor. Very satisfied with entire experience and will absolutely go back for any future maintenance/repair issues.

Each time we have used Dave's Auto Repair service over the past few years, their service has been excellent! Good quality service and great $$$ Value!! They repaired two of our older vehicles expertly, a 2008 Ford F-150 and a 2007 Saturn Vue. The Ford needed everything from wiring repair due to rodent damage in the engine compartment to new wheel bearings put in. And much more. And our Saturn needed a leaky gasoline tank repaired and new float in the tank. As well as new motor mounts. All repaired by to Dave's. Thanks again for hiring excellent technicians, as well as all your hard work with the wiring adapter rewired by hand! And thank you again, for caring about our cars! You are a truly a Godsend!

I have been using Dave’s service since 1996 and always have had excellent outcomes with vehicle repairs. I have always driven used cars and put tons of miles on them with my home health physical therapy work. Daves repairs and maintenance have allowed me to put over 300000 on 2 Pontiac's and a grand marquee. Plus over 200000 on several of my others. I recommend them to everyone without hesitation.
