I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone after my experience. I noticed that my car began to have a coolant leak that ended up being a corroded water pump. I was referred to Dave’s by JKB auto right down the street because they accepted the warranty that I had on my car. After a few days being there someone called to tell me that my car has a cracked block and would need to replace the engine and that when they called my warranty they said that they wouldn’t cover my repair, putting the repair in limbo, because I drove on it causing the overheating and I would likely be responsible for the $6000+ job out of pocket. I of course then called my warranty company myself to plea my case, but to my surprise they said that there was no record at all of any shop or individual contacting them to make a claim on my behalf. The guy then told me that I should move my car to a different shop because I was not being told the truth and there was no reason he could see that they wouldn’t cover it since the car was so new to me regardless of driving it. When I called Dave’s back this time much more angry I asked for the name of the lady that didn’t tell me the truth about my warranty, but they only said I needed to reach back to my dealer in which by this point they had already called to give a heads up to about the situation. When I called my dealer they already knew I spoke the shop and was angry. So that being said, if your car ends up needing anything major this place would rather try to have you pay out of pocket for an issue they don’t want to deal with instead of using the warranty.
