I can't say enough about what great service I received at Dave's Auto Repair. I had a driveway oil change go bad, and they rescued me from a serious problem. I successfully emptied the crankcase of the engines life blood into a floor pan, and just as successfuly returned the artery drain plug to its rightful location in the crankcase. I carefully moved the drain pan under the oil filter canister in preparation of removal of the heart. Retrieving the trusty socket wrench and oil filter cannister removal tool, I deftfully applied the lefty loosey technique for removal of the cannister. The cannister didn't budge. I grabbed the convincer breaker bar, in a show of who was the mightier. I lost that battle by breaking a flange off of the plastic cannister, which also made a hole in the side of the cannister. The God of all things that can go wrong-will, had won the tool mastery war. I desperately needed the car on Monday and the tool war commenced on Saturday-a day that Dave's was closed. I leaped on the shops web site explaining the issue, hoping that somewhere there was a rabbit to be pulled out of a hat in my favor. I called a tow company after blurtting out a few expletives, letting the mechanical fix failure atone for its sin. First thing Monday morning, I called the shop and was pleasantly greeted by Shane, who said I ordered the parts, and they are here, we'll get started on it and call you when it's ready. Just a short time later that day, the magicians at Dave's had concurred what I could not, and actually made an improvement to the cannister, by replacing the nasty plastic vermin with a metal cannister. If I could break this metal cannister, the Hulk might need to find a new career. Thank you Dave's!!!

Took my car there for a transmission fluid change and they overfilled it which caused the oil pan and gasket to leak because it’s over pressurized. I took it back to them and they charged me to fix the issue they created.

The fluid being overfull may have aggravated an existing leak. The fluid being overfilled 3/4 of a quart would not have caused higher pressure. We apologize we did not notice the pan leak during the fluid change. If you still feel that we are at fault I would be happy to refund your money. To do a transmission fluid exchange we do not have to have the vehicle on the lift, so we did not notice the fluid leak. We should have rechecked fluid after driving to make sure it was at the correct level, that was an oversight on our part.

I had a very pleasant experience here getting 4 new tires installed. The personnel were very friendly and courteous. I had a 12:00 appointment and they got my truck right in. Unlike some of the other shops in town, Dave's was very clean and organized. I highly recommend using Dave's to anyone needing service.

I made an appointment with Daves and my car was worked on that day. I received a text message, giving me a list of suggested repairs and an estimate of cost. I selected to have most of the repairs done and declined one or two. About two hours later I got a phone call that the car was ready. I paid for it, got in the car drove it for a couple of days, and it is obvious that it was repaired. It was as clean as I brought it in. All said and done, I got a good repair, done in a timely basis at a fair price. I recommend Dave’s to my friends and neighbors.

Such kind and friendly people, and there was a misdiagnosis on my vehicle and they fixed it with no extra cost to me..

Unfortunately when we pressure tested it with the engine cold, the only leak we found was at the reservoir. After driving the vehicle we should have let it sit and then re pressure tested it, then maybe we would have seen the water pump leaking. Im glad it was a quick fix, sorry for the inconvenience. Happy that we could get you all fixed up
